  • In the owners jargon, a warning indicator on the instrument cluster, which is illuminated when the vehicle has a failure (low fuel, failed brakes, engine overheating, low oil pressure etc.) or when the driver forgot some important usage operation (parking brake, open door, safety belts etc.). His usage is documentary attested from 1968. Others synonymous terms: idiot lamp, naive light, indicator lamp, warning signal, warning indicator, indicator light etc.

  • Isuzu
  • Known automotive Japanese maker and trademark. After the merging of two Japanese companies, in 1937, a new company was born: "Tokyo Automobile Factory". The factory produced trucks and buses with the name Isudzu. In 1953, the company changed the name to Isuzu. It's now producing off-road vehicles.

    In 1936, the first 5.3-liters air-cooled diesel engine was developed and the first diesel powered truck was introduced to the Japanese market, becoming an industry standard in Japan. By 1948, Isuzu Motors Limited became Japan's major diesel engine manufacturer and still holds that distinction today. In 1959, Isuzu Motors Limited introduced the first two-ton low-cab-forward truck to the world.

    Currently, Isuzu Motors Limited is the largest manufacturer of diesel trucks worldwide. The factory logo is a simply word (no emblem), made with a special font.

  • A known company in the Fiat Group, one of the leading international manufacturers of commercial vehicles and diesel engines. Iveco was created, in 1975, from the merger of three companies: Fiat Veicoli Industriali S.p.A. (Italy), Unic (France) and Magirus Deutz AG (Germany). The name "Iveco" is an acronym of "Industrial Vehicles Corporation". The company logo is a simply word ("IVECO"), no emblem, made with a special font.
