My Story

~ Me and my Nova ~

This is the story of my NOVA. It actually started off as my son's Nova and I kind of took it over when he got his new T Bird. We started out with his first car which was a 74 2 door custom, Black Nova but the body was so bad we purchased the brown one in the pic section. That's when the fun really began.

Although we are not mechanics, we struggled through rebuilding the engine with a friend of mine "bone". We also changed from a 250 six cylinder to the 350 from the original Nova. We don't have a garage so we worked on a covered patio. When it got cold or hot we just covered it up and waited for better weather. It took 4 years all together but it was well worth the effort. The paint is Base coat Clear coat and the color is Calypso Green metalic. I belong to NNN and and really enjoy working on the car and driving it. I plan on updating some of the pics from time to time and continuing the story with details. So stop back and check it out. Special thanks to Doug Pack who helped me develop the whole site.
