Had passenger side seat replaced. It was not shaped properly and was uncomfortable to sit in. They just
grabbed a new one from another new Neon and put it in. Much better. I pity the guy who bought the one with
that seat in it.

Bought a factory handle for above the passengers door. The Sport and other models came with these but
ours didn't. $4.35.

Bought some Bright Jade Satin Glow touch-up paint and also a factory switch for foglamps. You have to
replace the whole rear window defogger switch assembly. This switch is $98.50!! Added a set of aftermarket
fog lamps.

Found out there was a TSB on Neon brakes that squeal at low speeds. I tried cleaning the brake dust out
and this didn't help at all. The fix was new backing plates, shoes, and wheel cylinders on the rear brakes.
This seems to have taken care of the problem.

Noticed small crack in the plastic tank on the top of radiator. This only seemed to leak when the engine
cooled off. Dealer had to replace the radiator with a new one. Plastic radiators suck!

Dodge finally came out with a TSB to cover the scratched windows on all Neons to date. If you have any
warranty left, they will do it for free! TSB 23-046-97 calls for replacement of window glass and the felt
bumpers inside the window. Only the drivers side was bad so, we had that one replaced. So far so good.
Mechanic seemed to think it wouldn't help the problem, since new bumpers were same type as old
ones.
