Here are my links to useful pages I found in my own
wanderings:
-
Ford
Flathead V-8 This is the best page that I found anywhere on
the internet. It has the history of flatheads, how to hotrod a flathead,
flathead chat, vintage ads, reference materials, flathead suppliers, FAQ,
and picures of visitors flathead vehicles.
-
Hot Rod 'N Custom Supply
This is a very nice page for purchasing parts and supplies. If Rod
'N Custom Supply doesn't have it, chances are you won't be able to find
it. This is a truly amazing company. Order a catalog, it's
worth it. Features hot rod, speed, and custom accessories.

The
Ford Flathead V8 This page has a little bit of the history behind
the flathead, some interesting information about how and why it was designed
and built, and links to useful resources on the internet about flatheads.
Not very pretty but extremely informational.
-
Roadsters
- Ford Flathead Engines This page has a little bit of info on
the authors experiences with a flathead V8 and a motorboat. Kinda
interesting. The main draw here is a list of around 25 different
suppliers, rebuilders, etc. of flathead engines. Also, this page
has a few useful links.

Flathead
-- The Ford V8 Interesting page with a chart of factory bore/stroke
combinations. This page also has a pretty complete chronology of
the changes in flatheads from 1932 to 1953. It also has some pictures
and info on hot rod flatheads, and a few pics of flatheads resting in peace.
Nice touch.

Forties
Limited of Orange County Ok, so this isn't exactly about flatheads,
but I couldn't resist. This club is just for those interested in
'39-'41 Fords. They had flatheads in 'em, right? See, I can
rationalize. This club has members all over the US. This 31
year old club isn't going anywhere soon.

Supercharged
Flatheads Yup, you read it right. This page has some info
on a supercharged flathead owned by the author, and on a few other interesting
flatheads, like one in an airplane!
