After building the Jeep, I started running the trails, testing it out. Some of them were run more
than once, to get it right. I started off with Raw Deal, then moved to Lower Terminator, Upper
Terminator, Predator, then I ran the 4 of them again. After that, I moved to Florence Jct. and ran
Axle Alley, then to Glamis, and then ran Upper and lower Firebird at the white Tanks. I came back to
Table Mesa to run anaconda twice, then Predator again. After that, I ran Asylum. During the first set
of trail runs up until Anaconda the first time, this is what I changed, modified or broke:
Raised upper Shock Mounts 1.5" for better compression, and to prevent bottoming out.
Changed front springs to 2 1/2" Rancho Wagoneer models.
2 bent rear mainleafs.
2 broken rear axle shafts with Moser Alloy shafts.
Steering box, sheared off the main sector shaft.
AN fitting for transmission fill level sight tube broke upon skid plate impact.
Cut fenders off, and painted flames on Jeep.
Future modifications will include lightening the Jeep as much as possible, and building a new cage for it.
