Just installed a B&M shift kit in the old 700R-4 trany. Results were good, the shift kit greatly enhanced the shift points of the old dog. The kit was purchased from Summit raceing parts for $50.00 and was worth it. It was easy to follow all directions and installation was simple. The project would have only taken about 3 hrs. But I also added a drain plug and an external trany filtration system kit this was also purchased from Summit Raceing for about $25.00 using a standard PH-8A Fram filter. This also added another quart of oil to the system giving it better cooling properties. If thier are any questions on this subject e mail me (Subject: Vett)7 Mar 1999
