[The Scooter Base]- has 4 responsibilities:

 To hold the front wheel and the rear wheel. The base is literally the body of the scooter.

 The base for the engine- The engine provides a large amount of vibrations, therefor it must be attached very firmly to the base.

 Provide the driver a space to stand on.

 Helps to absorb bumps (by using a flexible base).

To make such a base we will again consider the following two factors:

 Money.

 Ease of making.

 

For the base recommendations are to use wood. Unlike most materials known the wood is very friendly to use and construct is strong and flexible which is important in this project.
