Butterfield

A gentleman named Doug from
California sent this picture of his Butterfield.
It was the prototype for the production run of them. In all around 100 were
made.
They used a 1500cc VW engine and BMW Tramsmission. They were built in California in the late 1960's
early 1970's and were sold complete or as a kit.
It is certainly better looking that the Brazilian bikes that used VW
powerplants.
