"Ohmygosh, what did we DO!?" :-) Too late to stop now, onward we go!

The engine in the garage for the removal of all the stuff from the block. We did not take the engine apart, just removed all the peripherals.

After brazing cracks and holes in the sheetmetal shroud, cleaning, gasket and seal replacement, repainting, adjusting valves, etc etc, the engine is back together again and ready to be reinstalled!

General cleanup, new insulation, gaskets, trans mounts, wiring cleanup, etc etc and the engine compartment is ready for the engine!

The 5th of July, 1998 - the engine is back in the car and running great!!!
