Rob's Beetle page number 5

July 31st, 1998. After several weeks of building a sunroom on the back of our house, we finally had time to work on the bug again! We got the driver's front fender on last week, and are working on the passenger's front fender in this series of pictures. After getting the front fenders off, we found a previous repair - the whole front nose section was replaced at some time! Oh well, it doesn't matter since the nose had once again been bashed in!!!

Here's a close-up of the work in progress on the right front fender. You can see the white nose that has been grafted onto the yellow body. Had to use the bodyworking tools in this area again, thank goodness it wasn't bad enought to graft on another nose!!!

HAPPY BUG!!! My son probably won't want to drive the car once he sees the smiley face on the front!!!
